This cemetery is located on land that was owned by William Hendren Sr. Most of the land is still in the Hendren family in 2011.
Recent information indicates there were more than 40 graves in this cemetery. Many of them were members of the Mullis familywho lived nearby.
There were approximately twelve Mullis graves in the first row on the eastern edge of the cemetery. Four of them, children of George Mullis, died
in one week's time of the fever in the late 1780's.
